Unley City Council
The conversion of a massive stormwater culvert into a linear reserve that provides a spine to the residential suburb of Unley proves the value of these small left-over open spaces. The reserve provides an easily accessible path and local provenance plant corridor. Many rare and endangered local plant species are reintroduced adding to the biodiversity of the city and providing a model for future streetscape design.
