The proposed redevelopment of Felixstow Reserve is an opportunity to enhance and realise the full potential of this significant regional open space asset. Oxigen has developed the Felixstow Reserve Masterplan Draft Concept, as the first stage in the Master Planning process. The Draft Concept incorporates a wetland component (part of the ERA Waterproofing Eastern Adelaide Stormwater Harvesting & Re-use Project) in addition to a range of improved community amenities including pedestrian and cycle pathways, BBQ and picnic facilities, new public toilets and car parking. Based on feedback from the community at the initial consultation stage the preferred location, shape and size for this wetland have been determined, ensuring that the wetland sits comfortably in the finished design of the Reserve and that a high-performing and well-designed outcome is achieved.
