Green Infrastructure Working Paper

Adelaide, SA
The Green Infrastructure Working Paper looks to advancing the case for Green Infrastructure and its importance to the future planning and design of Adelaide as a sustainable city. It consolidates and explains further the South Australian Government’s intentions under the 30 Year Plan to improve liveability, drive sustainability and increase resilience to climate change. To help achieve these ambitions, the Green Infrastructure Working Paper outlines the value Green Infrastructure has to our community, embraces a bold vision, reflects international best practice and sets a ‘roadmap’ for Green Infrastructure delivery that is responsive to Adelaide’s unique landscape, climate and socio-political setting. For this project, Oxigen, as Principal Consultant, teamed with Conner Holmes for a combined disciplinary of Strategic Planning, Landscape Architecture and Urban Design. This joint planning and landscape design approach is a key strength of the project and fundamental to ensuring that future planning and design is coherent, structured and focused.
