Oxigen's Master Plan for the Norwood Parade is in line with objectives described in NPSP Council’s Strategic Management Plan, CityPlan2030: Shaping Our Future, and the State Government’s strategic aspirations articulated in the 30-Year Plan. Design principles include enhancing the amenity along The Parade, reinforcing its sense of place, and establishing a clear framework for development within and adjacent to the precinct. Also important is future proofing the physical, economic and cultural integrity of The Parade, cognisant of proposals for light rail, and delivery of a high-quality public realm that focuses on providing an attractive, sustainable, connected and safe pedestrian and cycle friendly environment.
