The SAHMRI Master Plan provides active outdoor spaces and pods with medicinal gardens around the fringe of the building. Connectivity from North Terrace to the new NRAH was carefully planned to understand the increase in development in the City’s West End and allowing for future connections to the Torrens Lake and future River Park from Hindley Street and Uni SA’s City West Campus. Oxigen provided landscape and urban design advice for the AUD200 million flagship research facility which houses the SAHMRI headquarters built alongside the New Royal Adelaide Hospital (NRAH).
